Yes. We clean both solid hardwood and engineered wood floors. Our technicians identify your floor type and finish first, then use the right wood-safe method and products for that surface — so your floors are cleaned effectively without any risk of damage.

For everyday care, dust mop or vacuum weekly and wipe up spills promptly. For a deep professional clean, every 6 to 12 months works well for most homes — sooner for high-traffic areas or homes with pets. Regular professional cleaning keeps the finish protected and the wood looking its best.

We don't recommend it. Steam mops force heat and moisture into the wood, which can cause warping, cupping and finish damage over time. Our professional cleaning uses a wood-safe method with minimal moisture that cleans thoroughly without putting your floors at risk.

Light surface scratches and scuffs in the finish can often be minimized with cleaning and buffing. Deeper scratches that reach the bare wood need more than cleaning — that's where a screen & recoat comes in, restoring the finish without sanding to bare wood. We'll tell you honestly which your floor needs.

Because we use a wood-safe process that adds very little moisture, drying is quick — usually 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on ventilation and conditions. That's one of the big advantages of professional wood floor cleaning over wet-mopping at home.

Usually within an hour or two, once the surface is dry to the touch. We'll let you know exactly when it's safe to walk on and when to move furniture back, so nothing marks or dents the freshly cleaned finish.

Avoid anything that leaves residue or damages the finish, including:

• Oil soaps and wax- or beeswax-based "polishes" that build up and dull the wood.
• Vinegar and other acidic cleaners that can etch the finish over time.
• Excess water or steam, which can warp and cup the boards.

If buildup has already dulled your floors, our wax removal service strips it away safely.
